Central Asia Strategic Council (CASC)

Overview

About the Program

The Central Asia Strategic Council (CASC) is a programme developed by the Academy for Cultural Diplomacy. It highlights the opportunities and potential of Central Asia and the Caucasus. It also contributes to the global policy debate on strategies for sustainable development and cooperation in the region.

The programme includes research and analysis, as well as local, national, and international conferences. It also organises cultural events, public lectures, and Young Leaders Programmes that bring together students and young professionals with a strong interest in Central Asia and the Caucasus. CASC brings together like-minded individuals from Central Asia, the Caucasus, and around the world in the fields of international politics, diplomacy, business, academia, and civil society. It aims to strengthen global dialogue through research and public events and to empower young leaders committed to regional cooperation and engagement.

The programme focuses on four core areas. These include the history, economic, development, and cultural diversity of Central Asia and the Caucasus. It also addresses political and security dynamics in the region, with an emphasis on cooperation and stability. The final area is the strategic importance of Afghanistan and Pakistan within regional and global politics.
